I have been planning to buy new snow tires soon at "end of season" prices but knew I would be out of town for awhile so I postponed the purchase (internet order from TireRack) until Monday evening.

I got home today to find 4 brand new snow tires sitting on my front porch!

If I had ordered them on Thursday or Friday while still traveling, they would have been delivered on Monday, I could have had them mounted yesterday afternoon since I had to take a 1/2 day vacation to conduct other personal business anyway, and then actually gotten use out of them this morning with the 2 inches of snow that fell in S-E Michigan last night!

Now the weather forecast is for temps in the 40's and 50's as Spring finally arrives. Alas, such is my life.
