Thanks for your input. After some web research, I opened up the dryer to check the unit. I checked continuity on switches, splitters, and a sensor and all seemed OK. I then removed the top, front, and then the drum to get to the heating element. Visually checked heating coils and they looked fine, then checked the continuity of the elements and they checked out OK.
I'm not a repairman so I'm not sure what's wrong. Is it possible that the heating elements are broken even though there is no break? I thought they were just a big resistor so if they are broken it would mean discontinuity.
