I'm not a lawyer, but I believe that if a neighbor's tree branch crosses over onto your property you are entitled to its fruit or to trim it back if the owner does not trim it.
Check with the town to see if she has any outstanding violations for tree trimming, some towns enforce those types of codes.
I would file with her insurer and let their lawyers duke it out, take pictures of the location of the car and the tree, maybe get a picture of the property from before the branch fell for your insurer's use. Good luck.
