no saab indies near me and the dealers aren't worth their price so I decided to let a reputable local shop do my repairs. Couldn't be happier, there's nothing like a mechanic that actually listens to you when you bring in your car because they know they're not experts on it. They have sources for OEM parts and I always ask them to use Saab fluids because these cars are picky. If your guy is willing and competent then go for it, just try him out on some relatively simple stuff first and build confidence.
