This may sound obvious, but try to brake in a straight line. If you are approaching a turn, brake in a straight line, even if it means you are going deep into the corner and then turn as you are relieving pressure on the brake peddle.
the front outside tire can only do so much. Braking and turning require a lot out of the outside front tire. ABS helps in this regard, but if you are brakeing and turning, then the inside rear tire is doing very little.
