Sorry for the shouting but the jack needs to roll forward as the car goes up. As the jack rises, the lift platform moves closer to the handle. If the wheels can't roll, you'll have a jack that wants to tip over. And buy the dang jack stands or you will live up to the name of your posting. Finally, you can use the cars jack points but I recommend a block of wood so you don't collapse the little tabs the hold the OEM jack.
