I'm also coming due for a new phone and tried the Storm last week without reading anything about it. Was not impressed. Then I read the reviews, and they pretty much summed up my impressions.
The whole screen is a button, but the pressing action of the individual keys is not so great and you really have to pay attention to which key you're pressing. Maybe I'm just a klutz, but it was not very good and it was very easy to mistype any given word. Reviews said the same.
The browser was a joke. There are two modes for browsing and you have to toggle back and forth between them, and I found the cursor mode used to select links didn't always work, including here at TSN.
I would prefer an iPhone, but don't really want to switch networks, but the Storm isn't close to being in the same league, IMHO. Sort of like expecting a Saab 9-3SS and getting a Hyundai Sonata. I'll wait a while, or maybe I will switch to ATT. No hurry, though.
