I would assume ( and hope ) what you intend to grind up is organic matter? There are several compost buckets with charcoal filters on the market, they do not smell even with the most vile combinations of food scraps ..keep it in your mudroom,storage closet or even under the sink cabinet etc...if you drink coffee the grinds are excellent for composting as well. If you have any land at all dump this bin outside in a penned off spot,add yard waste, and you will have rich loam in a few months/years. If your in a city maybe your block has a community garden or lot for such? Another big plus is our actual trash container has no odor because there is no organic matter in it to spoil and produce odor.
