right after we bought the place. had a badger 5 model before and I wanted the same one we had in our last place. This one makes the lights dim when it starts... LOL I think I plugged it up twice in 18+ years. It was something fiber based stuff that I don't do anymore, ah! It was artichoke leaves. That was a mistake, had to take the fitting off the disposal and dig them out. The other was fresh pineapple skin/husk and the leaves too my wife followed my lead and found another boundry!
So I don't do those, or things like it (corn husks etc) anymore.
But I put everything I can down it, peelings from potatos and carrots, and apples. orange and grapefruit skins, all of the bones from those $4.99 BBQ chickens you get at Costco and other places, they are soft and go in without issue, much of the bones from Thanksgiving Turkey, just not the really large ones, we microwave corn on the cob, so after I cut the cobs into thirds and they go in too. the scraps from steaks, basically anything that you could eat goes in.
777 baby, the only way to grind. Remember Dennis the Menace and the line "see, I told you it could do a root beer bottle?"... that could have been me...
