I'm feeling very uneasy and probably should be more heavily in cash, since I've been saying this is going to be a double dipper and getting quite a bit of attitude for my pessimism. But, really, how can anyone possibly point to hiring of census workers as job growth?
And if you want a good reason to get out the Kleenex, look up Fed Rate (the rate at which banks borrow money), check ou what it is (less tha 1%), how long it's been there and how it compares historically. Try to explain that away.
Also, I read the other day that China is getting a lot of labor strife. Seems the comrades are unwilling to work just for the thanks of a grateful nation. In the short term, this could get ugly. In the long term it could bring some manufacturing back to the USA.
No need to flame me. Any contradictory evidence you can see that may cheer me up will be gratefully received.
