They don't have to pay for the cars, they don't have to fix them or pay for service or insurance or anything else. They're use to the latest and greatest. Sure the latest BMW is great at track day but see how it is slogging to work some snowy winter morning in Michigan. Sure they love change for the sake of change, it sells magazines. But it isn't so great when you go to buy parts. You read their comparison tests and most of the time a few points seperate the first from last place car, and most of it's pretty subjective. 0-60 is great stuff, but as Saab has always maintained, midrange torgue is much more important (Top Gear said the 9-5 Aero in faster than a 911 from 30 to 70). I pretty much take everything they say with a grain of salt.
