The guy running the repair shop in my town was telling me about a customer who had a major problem with a Kia at around 50-60K miles and the dealer or and company wouldn't do diddly.
I don't know the details. Maybe the guy had no service records, but this class action suit is not the first I've heard about Kia not honoring warranties.
That said...
given the the low-end Kias, especially stuff like the Rio, are true bottom-feeder cars, you have to wonder if the owners are doing their part in maintaining their cars. Skip a couple of oil changes, miss a scheduled service or two and the manufacturer is within its rights to say the warranty is voided.
Just sayin' there's two sides to every story.
