If your driveway isn't much wider than two cars the smallest two stage should do the job. I have a very basic MTD 22', 5hp one that has been reliable for a dozen years now. Pull start, no lights, but it does the job. If your driveway is wide, a more powerful motor that will throw snow farther might make sense.
Even the best one stage models are poor at moving wet snow and slush.
