A4 Avant is a very different car from a 9-5 sedan. If a compact wagon was what you were looking for, a full size sedan like 9-5 would obviously be a wrong car. A 9-3x wagon OTOH would probably cost around $7-10k less than the Avant if you shopped hard, and still delivered more cargo space.

Turbos normally do not fail during warranty period. The early 2000's turbo failures at both Saab and Audi had a lot to do with both companies trying out extended oil change intervals, and with Saab also using semi-synthetic instead of full-synthetic oil.

Maine does not have a big market for full-size executive sedans. How many S500/550 4Matic sedans do you see in Maine? We are also in a tough economic time period nation-wide. Even in areas where S500/550's and LS430/460's used to be popular a few years ago, nowadays are witnessing the same families replacing them with "dirt-cheap" GLK's at roughly half the MSRP . . . and did you hear the new X3 is $2000 less than the old X3 despite having growing in size and having better equipment level?
