your current lifestyle which is apparently quite active and considering you venture to the city frequently to begin with; which is where the new position is located I humbly say go for it!
As Noel and others have indicated squeezing a bit from either employer would certainly help. And as Bruce indicated if you can deal with the politics and job responsibility and moving from state to private (Very, very different) you may find this new environment quite compatible to your current lifestyle. In my experience private run facilities are generally more relaxed if you can fit in. The numbers of the deal seem ok to me.
All else aside, that commute is gonna be your achilles heel. For 25 years you been six blocks from work which provides a level of psychological comfort. No matter what workload or pressure your oasis has been literally right down the road. Now flash to the future; perhaps a two hour commute barring traffic, accidents, seasonal factors and the like. A deer or two maybe. I think the question is how long you think you can do it all. Again, as noted, what does your gut say? All the best!
