It's too bad that some BMW drivers are idiots. It's also too bad that every other car brand is occasionally driven by idiots. The biggest "idiot" I ever SPOKE with about cars was trying to sell me the 9-3 Viggen from his dealership (Saab dealer). He told me how he spun the front tires through third gear, then proceeded to encourage me to purchase the car he just admitted to abusing. All brands have their idiots.
If the emblem on the car is all you need to see before you peg me as an idiot driver, then I don't care what you think of me.
Pegging a whole group of people based on what a few (admittedly very visible) members of the group do tells me more about the one doing the pegging than the ones being pegged.
