I don't get why there are so few rustproofing places in the USA, especially the northeast!
Rustcheck claims to sell their products through K-Mart in the USA. You could also call them (see the link in my previous posting).
Krown has a dealer listing (see link) and if you scroll to the bottom, there are 3 dealers in the USA. One in Pennsylvania.
If you are near the border, just about every decent sized town in Canada has a Krown or Rustcheck approved dealer (or someone who will spray the stuff but might not be on the dealer list). Every Canadian Tire (and many other automotive parts stores in Canada) carry Rust Check...
I will say though, POR is better paint than the Rust Check rust primers I've used. They prime ok, but nowhere near as tough + tenacious.
do they sell those electronic "rust proofing modules" in the USA? I know that works great on ships (immersed in electrolyte), but I wonder on cars... there is a 4 year old civic in the extended family with one of those + it started rusting with in a couple years... it would be nice if they worked, because the oil sprays can be messy (ie in the engine bay/underbody etc - you clean the outside anyway)... might be a factor if you diy, but cars are dirty to work on anyway...
James...
