Thanks, Larry. I did try this... best results I have are where I am now. Each switch turns the light on and off. But no, the dimmer doesn't dim. Correct, I didn't touch its wiring. I wonder if I fried the dimmer while horsing around with the other switch. The dimming feature is electronic, yes? Subject to frying?
Unrelated: today I took a 500 mile day trip to IKEA and back (roundtrip. don't ask). I went in my 03 Arc wagon. I recall you had a v6 at one point and liked it. All day long I was eating up the highway, smooth as can be. I'm sure you recall what that is like. The wagon swallowed all the cargo, of course.
