Thankfully I haven't really had the unpleasant experience of someone riding my bumper lately. That's probably because I drive the same commute everyday with little or no variation (booooring), therefore I see pretty much the same commuting buddies everyday. That said, it sure does seem like the tailgater profile is either a huge pickup or SUV, or the opposite end of the spectrum, a "young person" (read punk) 75% of the time female in an older econo-Honda-Huyndai or other smallish ride. Yesterday is was a large late model pickup with a middle aged woman on the cell phone..and after I turned off, I noticed the out of state plates. Ok I'll add that they were Jersey plates, sorry but it's the truth. I enjoyed her disgust with me slohttp://wwwwly braking looong before the traffic light to sit and wait for it to change with the 10 other cars. Because you know if I would have raced up and braked quickly and sat inches from the car in front of me's bumper, the light would have changed faster. Really.
