Any remaining former Dealers with interest? In the Detroit area the Mega-Dealer who owns Saab of Troy (which is still in business) might be interested. I suspect that Glassman Saab is making too much money from their Hyundai-Kia and Subaru franchises (all on the same property) to be interested. The local lunch counter rumors say that GM pretty much forced Suburban Saab to significanlty reduce lot and showroom space allocated to Saab vehicles well before the bankruptcy so I don't expect they would be allowed to be interested.
Then you have small stores like Trio Motors in Flint MI who were dropped by GM/Saab and are now a Used Saab only business, and former Authorized Saab Service businesses such as Taliaferro Imports (aka GenuineSaab) who were denied a Dealership franchise by GM but who still have a deep affection for the brand. Businesses such as these might be intersted - provided they are located in areas which show significant interest in electric vehicles.
If the major players in the electric vehicle business are struggling you have to wonder how a small start-up could succeed? Tesla is while Fisker didn't, but the $4.60/gallon I paid for premium yesterday morning might contribute toward an opinion shift.
