Used to be the other forum but the owner was too interested in selling Belscort(Bel/Escort) products and you couldn't name some products he had lawsuits with.
There are guys that are contracted out to redar companies for their expertise and allot of them buy thwir own equipment and do their own testing. This is especially true with laser guns and laser jammers as the jammers have to be mounted in the proper location and then fine tuned through gatherings organized by the die hards. A unique bunch with the resources and time that have exposed more than the average joe wants to know about radar waves on the 2nd or 3rd harmonic.
They post allot of videos of encounters with LEO(law enforcement officers) and some don't understand why things happen. As a radar detector user since 1986 I have my share of encounters and can point out how radar signals can get overstated by guard rails, other cars, buildings, and road signs. Or the radar signal gets killed as they follow too close to traffic in front of them.
