the best example imho is the headrest "test". The test was: what is the maximum height of the headrest? above height X = pass, below = fail or something like that... so the og9-5 I think was marginal and something like the c900 (or 9000?) is a fail and the stupid massive uncomfortable headrests on every car today that block your view and are at best no safer than the og9-5 in a collision are rated a pass... even if they don't have something like SAHR (maybe there is a new standard requiring active headrests but it wasn't required before)... The c900 headrests were designed to reduce whiplash in a collision by catching the lower part of your head and compressing... not as good as sahr, but better than the norm until very recently and way more comfortable with good visibility... but they would be a "fail", just like a Geo Metro... bah...
