SO I did place a call to Bilstein Warranty Dept…and they were Very interested in hearing about this news…but not in a good way for MJM…
It seems that the network (spiders web) of returns etc was pretty confusing on Bilstein's end…so they were going to call me back once they figured it out…
it didn't look good for MJM since Bilstein/Koni is probably some of any aftermarket shop's biggest ticket items.
Amazingly, the next day (today), I get real tracking info and a call from MJM to ensure I got the email…
That and I was holding up at least three of their phone lines for hours yesterday…that shoulda limited their sales…and I got ahold of the president's cell phone #, and I contacted a local news network with a lot of links describing other's issues with them…audizine, passatworld, yelp, vwvortex…heck, google's first page has rants regarding this company.
I ain't holding my breath until I see parts. I agree that they shoulda jumped on this parts-exchange offer, as its lucrative to them…but idiots are everywhere.
Thanks all…I'll post a summary to this thread if it settles out.
