My choices are:
US Jack, the only 3 Ton Jack Stand still fully made in the US, for ~$80 per pair w/o shipping. Actually these might be considered 6 Ton stands as their rating is per stand rather than per pair as all the others.
Hein-Werner, half made in the US regardless of the huge sticker on their side, for ~$60 w/o shipping
MAC Tools, Sunex, and others which are designed in the US but made in China for ~$50 w/o shipping.
The plethora of other known to unknown brands which are designed and manufactured in China and are available locally for ~$25 to $30 w/ no shipping required.
I am leaning toward the US Jack model, partly because they are made in Michigan, partly because they have twice the load rating, and partly because the death of US manufacturing bothers me. Other than being a little OCD regarding this decision, am I being foolish too?
