There's the knowledge gained that provides more confidence to do a job that might otherwise go to my indy. A lot of things I would do without a second thought, tune ups, filters, brakes, etc. But TSN provides info that makes things like doing a 9K heater core, swapping alternators, and diagnosing problems much easier. The shared experience of people here is often greater than that of my indy, who is one of the best Saab techs in my area. Plus, members here just know some weird stuff that the average Saab tech may never encounter.

Plus, I have found and bought two cars based directly on the contacts and knowledge found here, and bought the other two with confidence because I knew what to look for, all because of TSN.

I try to pay it back by putting up procedures that others can use and sharing whatever I can. We have 4 Saabs in the family and it would be just one or two without Saabnet.
