Apparently they sell these in boxes of five normally Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Fri, 19 Dec 2014 14:54:10 In Reply to: Re: OT:The best bourbon of this holiday season (so far),,,, TML [Profile/Gallery] , Fri, 19 Dec 2014 14:45:20 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I didn't do the listed Euro or Pound to US Dollar conversions but I did note that some samples were much pricier than others. The wife and kids split the tab for this gift three ways. Not paying attention to the individual sample prices will make this gift REAL expensive REAL fast.
I spotted a check lying on the table at Thanksgiving from one son to the other that was in the range of $90. Assuming that check was for this gift, the average cost is about $11 per glass. If so, a 5 Pack Box of samples might be just under $60 all in.
There was a reason I drank Old Grandad in college when some of my fraternity brothers were drinking J&B. Scotch always seemed to be considerably more expensive. The site also has quite a few highly ranked Scotch samples at around 3 pounds each, the price of Johnny Walker Red samples.
