for 5-10 mins so she will have heat sooner when she gets in on really cold days. I know the heat comes up faster when the car is driven but it's nicer for her when it's 5 degrees out.
And that counts for a lot.
If there's new snow or ice I scrape it off with the engine running, or I just go back inside the house.
The amount of gas used is kinda irrelevant.
Me, I don't commute so I just get in and go.
