If a car is well maintained things should be fine. OK, you can have something fail, but this can happen on any car.
My wife's '03 9-5 has 165K and we just did a 1500 mile trip to Atlantic Canada where Saabs are few and far between. Did I worry a bit? Yep. But I knew the car was basically OK, except it could use front subframe bushings. I'd just done the rear muffler, the serp belt and pulleys had about 30 K on them, as did the fuel pump. The hoses were OK. I had a spare DI in the trunk. But all went well. We do this trip 2-3 times a year. I carry a few tools, but as long as you pay attention to stuff the car will be OK.
Go over the car thoroughly and make sure stuff is in good shape and pay attention to things that can strand you. Hoses are good things to do preemptively.
If you're really unsure, rent something and go. Mileage doesn't matter with most rentals these days, so just drive.
