I bought a 1987 9000 at an auction pretty much on a whim just because it looked really good and was going really cheap. Paid my money and drove it home. Thought I had made a big mistake as when I was driving the gauges started acting weird and the car died. This happened a couple times. Got it home and starting playing it and thought maybe I should just check the battery. That was it. Bought a new battery and I was good. I really loved that car but it had the worst case of turbo lag I've ever experienced. Step on the gas and it seemed like it had a lawn mower engine until the turbo spooled up and pushed you back in the seat :)
