Lots of favorite Saab memories but one sticks out. Wife and I drove 1987 and 1988 900Ts, both in Malachite with tan interiors (hers 1988 with cloth, mine 1987 with leather) When time came to move forward, I got a 1998 900SE in Scarabe Green and then she got at 1999 9-3SEHOT in Midnight Blue both with tan leather interiors. (Midnight Blue and Scarabe Green looked very close in color to a passerby)

All of this background leads to a one-time laugh...we were both leaving for work one morning and a woman neighbor a block away from our house jumped in the road and stopped us and cried out "For years I watched you two drive matching cars....I saw that one of you got a new one and thought 'Finally, different colors'...and now you drive matching cars again....what is it with you two?!?!?"
