We currently own three cars, two Saabs and my wife's Audi - which is the only car currently driven and used for our weekly grocery shopping runs. The two Saabs have not been driven since mid-March. So we decided to drop all insurance (except for comprehensive) on the garaged Saab to save a substantial amount of money. The other Saab is parked outside and covered (as our backup transportation); both have trickle chargers. I may add a bottle of Sta-bil to both cars' fuel tanks; I think it could be three to four months before they are driven again.
Additionally, our auto insurance carrier (State Farm) announced an approximate 25 percent premium rebate to all policyholders to reflect the reduced risk pool caused by the massive curtailment of driving nationwide. So that will help with the other Saab and the Audi.
As an aside, are the various OEM or aftermarket cabin air filters used in the 9-3 and 9-5 models HEPA-rated?
