Hey there,
I’ve done a little Saab research recently and I have a couple inquiries. So my stepdad had a couple different Saab models when I was a kid in the 90s (a 900 and a 9000 aero.) I actually don’t have a car at the moment, but I’ve been thinking of how nice his Saab was. [Leather interior... dark green... beautiful!]
With even the little bit of research I’ve done thus far, it seems like it MAY not be a smart idea to get one.... but damn... that was a fabulous car in MANY ways.
Also, I’d like any one that is automatic. I know it might be a little lame but you know, I can’t drive a stick. Even if I could... with the traffic in the city I’m in etc... it may be impractical. Does anyone have any thoughts on how realistic is might be to purchase an older Saab (one of the previous stated models perhaps? I’m thinking specifically a 900) and what would be entailed, big picture wise, while owning it... meaning repairs, possible mishaps etc.
