Good for you for keepin' them going.

We took a long family road trip last summer. From our place in NorCal to Craters of the Moon, Yellowstone, Bozeman, Billings, back through Yellowstone, Tetons, southern ID, and back home. Not a lot of Saab shops on that loop ;o) We took our Lexus GX470. Anyone who can work on a Toyota V8 can fix that thing (it didn't need anything).

We continued to take the Saab to the coast, and just this last summer it's fuel pump died about 1.5 hours from home. We took an uber home, and my wife and I went back the next day for it, I replaced the fuel pump (had one in the garage because, well, why not?), and back on the road. They really are phenomenal long-road cars. I will miss it, and I suspect I'll be back in the fold someday.
