A BEATER! My first car, bought it in 1991. For some reason there was no way to lower the rear windows. Handled like the Queen Mary and drank about as much gas.
Was working in Vancouver at the time. Got accepted into grad school and drove home across the country. 20 days and 80 hours in the car. Got home, gave the keys to my dad and said, 'Please take it, I never want to see that car again'. Unfortunately, my dad has a sense of humor -- sold it to the guy across the street and he is STILL driving it!
My next (and current) car is a 1997 SAAB 900 S 5 door light blue. Talk about a step up! Thank god for higher education! I am hooked on SAABs.
