I understand what you said about people should be allowed to stay in the left lane if they are going the speed limit, but my point is that who are you to tell me that I can't pass? I mean, if the person in the left lane is going the same speed as the person in the middle lane, why be in the left lane where people pass?
People need to understand, that you can be pulled over for staying in the left lane and not passing people. Did you know that? If you are in the left lane at 3:00am with no one else on the road, you can be pulled over. The reason is simple, that lane is for passing. Read the laws, they are very clear, infact, they even give the driver a buffer in speed in order to pass another car. So, my point is, if you are going to go the speed limied, stay in the right or middle lane. If you feel you must go in the left lane, please be respectful and move over when someone wants to pass. It is thier right to dictate how fast they want to drive, not yours.
Rant over. Can you tell I live in Boston?
