and it was Ok around town and kinda peppy on the highway. It was BAD BAD BAD in the snow. On hardpack snow almost every time I would touch the gas going around a corner the damn car would spin around and try to go ass end into a snowbank. The back tires would spin way too easy when it was slippery.
Subaru tried to jazz it up by putting in an all digital dash. It also had that quirky pneumatic suspension with the push button air lift. Push the button, hear the pump start rattling under the hood somewhere and the car would raise up about an inch and a half. Shut off the car in that mode and you could hear the air go SHHHHHHH, and the car would drop back down. The novelty wore off after a few days.
It got totalled when I got rear-ended so I don't have it anymore.
