I may be wrong about this, but I believe it's more than wiring that affects us Saab drivers. I looked into this once before, and the cars with fog lights are physically different than ours. On 3-doors, the inner lights (closest to the license plate) have separate part numbers for both housing a lense if equipped with a foglights. On notchbacks, there is only one part number, and I don't even know where the foglight would be located. Anyone?
As for location, my Volvo has two rear foglights. I've noticed many Jags that do as well. My Alfa does too, come to think of it. But I think in *most* places, it's illegal to have two. I don't know what US law says on it, but given that Alfa and Jag and Volvo all sell dual-lighted cars, it's probably okay in these parts.
