Mr. Flint has had this opinion for long: that GM made a mistake in SAAB. His previous articles all reflect this, and he wants to show that he is/was right. He sould know better. The $loss figure he (and others) are quoting represents (mostly) SAAB's investment in the new 93. Therefore, it all depends on how the new car fares. Mr. Flint should know that. This article is unfair and not objective.
Mr. Flint's advice to GM is ridiculous. GM has to give SAAB a chance with the new products. If all of these products fail to achieve something for GM, then there is a story.
BTW did you notice how many times he uses the work "quirky" ? He must be "cutting and pasting" from all old stuff.
