Title was held by Saab Financial. The docs I have note them for the payoff and I followed-up to make sure I owed nothing more after the trade. I may even have a letter from Saab Financial stating the loan is paid in full, but that might be something hard to find within my cluster of a file system. I trust Saab would send the title to the dealer, otherwise the dealer couldn't have sold the car to someone else.

The insurance person I spoke with to get the claim cleaned up said, once she looked into it, that the car was in the actual driver's name, but they thought I was the driver (vice versa of what this lawsuit says). Very strange. Somehow they connected me to this car.
