Used Viggen, 9-2x, Audi A3, or wait for the new GTI?

My '95 Aero is getting up there(215,000 miles, lots of niggling problems..) and a replacement seems inevetible.
Should I find a used Viggen creampuff (local classifieds has a '99 with 44,000 miles for $12,500). This keeps me in Aero performance territory. Fiancially, a used car --especially with Saabs notorious depreciation, makes good sense....Would have to add a rescue kit, I assume...; Will it satisfy me coming out of my Aero?
A 9-2x with the screaming deals going on (drove one, nice for the money, but interior is so Subaru and didn't have that tied down drive feeling);
An Audi A3 which is basically an expensive GTI ($30,000-plus easly possible but had the Audi feel). Nice car.
Or, wait till first quarter of '06 and get a recently announced 5-door GTI?; It's gotten rave press reviews in Europe and several Car-of-Year awards. I've owned 7 gti's--all the A2 styles and this is reported to be the best one since then.
I need a hatch/wagon configuration for bike and dogs. Am I missing a wildcard option (Mazda3 turbo this fall or spring: 256 hp); a creampuff Aero, or Legacy GT wagon (not really feeling with those long body overhangs).
Thanks.
