There is a huge, and I mean HUGE, price difference between the two with the Q fetching much higher prices. The Q was/is very rare and is far more desirable to the normal Alfisti due to the sportier suspension, wheels, seats, etc, etc.
There is a 164 LS for sale in CA w/ 78k miles being offered at $3500. Another w/ 120k asking $5500 in PA. I think these represent the typical range depending on condition. I would guess ~$4-5k for a clean example w/ full records. As I mentioned before, make sure the timing belt has been changed. If not, expect around $800+ for it to be done last time I checked. Call some shops to get estimates; it's critical that these be done often.
If it's a Q, expect to pay a premium of $5-10k above the LS.
You can also inquire on the alfabb.com. Just be prepared that everyone there (including me) will suggest a ridiculously low price if you're looking to buy, and a ridiculously high price if you are looking to sell!
