I'll give you the Buicks and Acuras. No way I can tell their models apart,even though I'm sure they're good cars. I'd love to have seen the discussion in the Acura boardroom, "we've built some great brand equity with the Legend and Integra names, but how about we dump them for meaningless series of letters instead!"

For Jeep, I doubt they care. I'd say the vehicle are pretty different despite the similar price point, but I think they're selling every Wrangler they can make so if someone comes in for the Wrangler and wants to look at the Cherokee they're not going to be too upset. Now the difference between the Patiot and Compass, you're on your own there.
