I have to disagree and say no, you can't. At least not easily, and absolutely not DIY. The aluminum is polished to a mirror finish, it is literally as smooth as glass. Paint will NOT adhere to it the way it is. You would have to bead blast it or something first. I tried to use this special paint called "Clear4Chrome", which supposedly sticks to chrome and polished metal surfaces. It lasted about a month before it was flaking off. Standard wheel paint would last about 10 minutes, or the first time you picked at it with your fingernail.
