18" wheels are too ricer in any pattern. Even 17" is pushing ricer IMHO but some folks seem all giddy about them. To each his own. Anything over 16" is a bad idea if you live in pothole territory.
Whatever you get, go for the forged wheels. Big advantage in the holes.
