i am using this setup on my 9-5...stock T7 head and valves with T5 cams. according to frank, the engine flows very well. he has seen several cases of T7 valves breaking but this is on the racetrack during severe over-revs..... ie downshifting from 4th to first rather than 4th to third. my car will probably never see any track time so i am confident the valves will hold up and would be acceptable for most of us. ed's car sees some track time so he was wise to use the new valves and springs...maybe sacrificing a bit of flow but increasing durability tenfold. on the other hand....knowing ed.... the head is so ported/polished/prepped that it will out flow the stock head and be bulletproof at the same time.
