Price (my brother) made a set of headers for his '93 9000 Aero over the summer, and finally got them installed with new downpipe and SS 16g turbo over winter break.
He specifically took into account moving the turbo towards the drivers side to open up the radius for the downpipe (which worked amazingly), and the tubing lengths are still almost the same.
Pulse tuned headers are well documented in various publications, hopefully Price chimes in with the ones he has been reading lately, but I imagine that the benefit in a turbo application is perhaps even more pertinent in a turbocharged car, since there will be no interference of the exhaust pulses entering the turbine housing and 'clogging' the flow. I feel this is the major contributor to why my 900 and his 9000 (both with near-equal length headers) spool so fast.
My 900 with TE-05 12g hit full boost by 2700ish, and the 9000 with the 16g turbo w/ 10cm^2 turbine housing still spools it's full 21psi by 3000.
Best,
Drew
