Thank you Justin for the time you have taken in addressing this concern.
I believe I will be making around 250hp (30lb injectors, JAK chip, cold air intake, AID, Eric APC, Full 3"dp/exhaust-no cat,3.0 bar, hyperboost valve--I believe that is it).
Will more likely go with a bigger turbo, camshaft next year... But I want to avoid tranny issues and the like so apparently you are safe until 300hp; therefore I don't want to exceed this.
I am still so confused as to whether I should go with the EGT or the much more expensive wideband. I want to stick with autometer ultra-lite gauges since it will match the other two. The wideband it pricey and doesn't give you the laptop tuning as other...
I might go with the EGT for now and purchase the wideband (as per the one you recommended) for strictly tuning. I guess I could connect and disconnect it without any serious issues ( I will have a second bung welded on the top side of my JT downpipe and should be able to easily access it.
