First, thanks for the feedback. This isn't a power project at all. I already have way more power than I need in the 9000 (with balance shafts and totally stock internals & no porting) I'm definitely not looking to build another 450hp engine here. I just happen to have a nice NG2.0 sitting here with low miles and smooth balance shafts, easy to integrate T-5 (but not actually for performance.) I would leave it at a modest 230hp. I will have to rebuild the C900 motor. I was just contemplating the idea of swapping the NG in there to save some time.
Anyway....I didn't realize that the B204 stroke was longer than the B202? Regardless...if the transmission is indeed longer than the block....oh well. Forget about it....I'll start the rebuild on the B202 next week.
As far as performance, I WILL swap a B234 in longitudinal with rear wheel drive (some day) and that WILL definitely be tuned. ;o)
