there's hose clamps in there that are not of the screw type that have a tendancy to allow some slight seepage. I replaced mine with "normal" hose clamps and the leak, which I thought was possibly the heater core, went away. My '96 CSE still has original heater core at 400k+ miles... Just a suggestion...
