You aren't getting enough fuel in relation to the boost you are pushing. You forced it to be lean, so it will react by starting to knock and the sensor notifies the ECU.
Or, it could be that you have too much flow through the AMM, and the excessive voltage is telling the ECU to cut boost. If you have a bigger exhaust, head porting, and a bigger intercooler, it will flow more air and the AMM voltage rises to tell the ECU to attenuate fuel or boost.
Either way, it is a way for the engine management system to protect it from self destruction.
Split Second makes a voltage clamp for the AMM that runs about 100 bucks. They also make additional injector controllers so you can run bone stock fuel components coupled with additional injectors to keep the correct air/fuel ratio when you ask it for high boost.
